Email Platform Migration

A company's mail moved from one platform to another — mailboxes, folders, calendars, contacts and shared resources — without a day where nobody can send. Most of the work is planning: an inventory of what exists, a full copy that runs while the old platform is still live, then an MX cutover and a second pass that sweeps up whatever was delivered during it. Mail in flight on cutover day is the part that goes wrong when a migration is improvised, and it is the part the plan exists for.

What you get

  • An inventory of mailboxes, aliases, groups, forwarders, shared mailboxes and calendars on the old platform
  • A first full copy of mail, calendars and contacts while the old platform keeps running
  • A cutover plan with a dated window, an announcement your staff can read, and a way back
  • MX and authentication records repointed, then a delta pass for anything delivered mid-move
  • Reconfiguration instructions per client and device, and hands-on support for the first day after the switch

What this does not cover

  • Licensing or hosting on the destination platform, billed separately — as Business Email Mailbox if you are landing with us
  • Moving an existing compliance archive. Journaled archives do not travel between platforms: Compliance Email Archiving starts fresh on the new one, from the day it is switched on.
  • Fixing deliverability along the way. New platform, same reputation — if mail was landing in spam before the move it will after it, and the Email Deliverability Audit is the service for that.
  • Files, intranet and chat on the old platform. This is mail, calendars and contacts.

Who it fits

A team leaving a platform it has outgrown or been priced off, with mail it cannot afford to lose in transit. If you have already moved yourself and only need the records repointed at the new platform, SPF / DKIM / DMARC Setup is the far cheaper purchase.
